10th Annual Sickle Cell Disease

Golf Classic

Awesome Donors Make Event the Best Ever!

We would like to thank our incredible donors, sponsors and volunteers for their support of our September Golf Classic, our most successful one yet!  With over 130 players and the great California Country Club as the venue, golfers were treated to what many have come to call one of the best small charity tournaments around!

Our call for sponsors and donors was heeded early on.  With backing from companies large and small, as well as businesses, social clubs and individuals, our raffle prizes and goodie bags were outstanding!  We received airline tickets, autographed sports memorabilia, golf equipment, gourmet gift baskets and all manner of smaller items that made up our "goodie" bags.  Our golfers were treated to 1st class items all around.

We are preparing for our return trip to the beautiful California Country Club for our 11th Annual Sickle Cell Disease Golf Classic on Friday, September 1, 2006.  Our proceeds help to support programs and services for the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation of California.
