Together We Can!
Learning Center
The purpose of the
Together We Can! Learning Center
is to make computer technology, tutoring educational resources and
sickle cell disease information available to all persons with sickle
cell disease and their families in Southern California.
The Sickle Cell Disease Foundation
of California is pleased to announce the grand opening of the new
Together We Can! Learning Center.
We encourage you to take advantage
of the following services and activities of the Learning Center.

Academic Guidance
Tutoring Program:
Individualized tutoring sessions are available Monday thru
Thursday in the afternoon for children with sickle cell disease.
We can also help with Individual Educational Programs (IEP's) and
working with school personnel.

Computer Lab:
Open Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am -
5:00 pm for our clients to use for school assignments, job
searching, learning about sickle cell disease and much more!

Resource Center:
We have put together a small
library of sickle cell disease and health related books, videos
and other materials for your use. We have three (3) sickle
cell counselors on staff to help you find the information you are
looking for!

Computer Workshops:
Keep your eyes open for upcoming workshops on how you can use the
internet and computer technology to enrich your everyday lives.
